How to mic a Marshall cab with pics!


Came across this on the net.
Me thinks this is how the "Big Boys" get there tone.
Looks pretty spot on to me!

All joking aside, has anyone ever miked up one of those little beauties?? I used to have one years ago and recorded a sweeeet sounding double track with it (sm57 if i remember correctly) - I've since lost it, and miss it massively. Probably fell down the back of the sofa, little bugger!!

All joking aside, yes I have used one of those micro marshalls.
Its cool for the Megaphone of guitar sound used for a few seconds.
Also, it can be used multed with a proper rig.
