Greene Street's board (before the Legacy)?

The Electric Lady/SSL thread reminded me of something I've wondered from time to time:

A number of my favorite records came out of Greene Street, and I've wondered what board they were mixed on. I only know about the Legacy, but that was installed later than most of the albums (Mecca & The Soul Brother, for example). What preceded it? Also an API?

I have some ducuments that a guy was buying a Trident TSM from them at one time, if it was ever actually part of their studio, I have no idea.

Greeene Street Console

When I was there in 1978, they had a custom board that was made from one piece of metal with most of the channel stuff(gain, Eq, etc.) on it, and separate faders. The meter bridge was another piece that had gas discharge tubes, apparantly for bus assigns, possibly indicating a central bussing system and therefore predating the Neve 8108. I remember the knobs had hand-drawn letters around them. And the right side was the monitor section. And the engineer said to me, "we know it looks terrible but it sounds great.."

Anybody else remember this?
