tc helicon voiceworks

I am looking to invest in a vocal processor for the studio. I need pitch correction and maybe a few other goodies. The tc voiceworks looks like it would do what I want. Can anyone who has used one of these give me the lowdown and a thumbs up or down on it?
Thanks in advance
Eric

Hey there,
I rarely say things like this, but its no good.
It has some cool effects, but you're much better off getting some decent plug-ins.
at $600 the VoiceWorks does NOT deliver what you want. Vocal tracks end up sounding like chipmunks or "robotron 9000" I had it. Took it back. Useless.
I have heard the HIGHER END of TC Helicon stuff is much better...but its quiet a jump. And i couldnt comment on those.,Good luck

Take Voice One, although more expensive, it is powerful effect box with many options that are still very useful.
I have it for 1,5 years now, and use it quite often via its digital I/O. On many applications I prefer it over plug-ins in terms of sound and flexibility.

I recently purchased the TC Helicon Voice PrismPlus. I love the unit.

Drawbacks: the harmonies are robotic sounding and are only for background tracks yet add some depth. A bit of a learning curve. You have to set your input level very low to keep from clipping.

The effects are great, I love the options I have with the unit, and I have the digital I/O which to me sounds like one of the best A/D convertors on the market at this price range.
