Picksail,
I liked your place a lot! But, your movie was too short and too fast. I wanted to see more of it and a bit slower so I can take it all in. I really liked the way it opens, going past the curved windows and then going up the stairs. And, I liked most of what I saw but I did not get a chance to see those guitars and the nice rack you have. Make a feature length movie, OK?

Yeah, I hear ya. That was actually a demo vignette I shot on a Canon A80 (the one I had in Nashville, Lindell). I wanted to see if I could acheive a decent walk-thru video of the studio without completely boring the veiwer. So I elected to make 3-4 second cuts for each segment. In reality it resembles a furniture store commercial than anything else i.e. quick pans, excessive interior shots, etc. It was cut within FinalCutPro HD then bounced to a low res MP4.
I'll probabably shoot this again but this was my first attempt at this sort of 'amateur video'. I just wanted to have something for the sponsors of TapeOpCon to check out before venturing down here for demos. I am offering my place for such purposes if anyone attending the conference is interested. I'm open to suggestions. (Brad Lunde give me a call.)
Thanks for the niceties.
