Nuendo:same length for every slice

I have sliced a snare-track into many pieces. Is there a function that makes every slice the same length? I mean this is easy in Fruity-Loops, so it should be possible in Nuendo too. This would save me so much work! Any help is appreciated!

I have created a slice at each hit.Now i want every slice to be the same length.I can do this manually.Or when I play around with the release time and the Threshhold, they are almost the same length. But I want every slice to be the exact same length.

if you look up by your play/stop buttons and shit, theyre should be an icon that looks liks >I< and it should say snap on/off when you move your mouse over it. if you click that, and use the siscors to splice it. it should line it up with the grid so that you have it split up in perfect distances apart. of course if you wanted to do it the cheap way, you could just duplicate the same one. but then it would sound fake

i dont think this is what you were talking about, but thats what i got out of reading it. you didnt give too many details on exactly what you were trying to do...

yeah that would work, but I have many many slices that are not on the grid. Its a human playing the drums. As I said, the slices are almost the same length and I can get them to be the same length manually. But this is a hell of a lot of stupid, boring work.I would like to know if there is a function to make every slice, that has a fixed position and can´t be duplicated, the same length.Don´t ask why,but I want to.

Try selecting all the parts and adjusting the length parameter in the info line. No guarantees, but it might do what you need. I'm not at my DAW right now.

- Select all events in the info line (info line should turn yellow indicating that the selection has different values)
- Enter the length you wish them to be
- Hold down "Ctrl" and press "Enter" at the same time

This will set all events to the same value (works for any info line parameter).

Simply select all the clips you want to adjust and drag the bottom right hand (or left hand corner) little red square to size you would like.

Easy!
