Aux sends and stereo effects

Basic question here.

Whats your most common use of aux sends on stereo tracks sending to stereo effects for a stereo effects return?

Example: Stereo mic an acoustic guitar. tracks 1(L) and 2(R).
Mono aux sends: 3 and 4

Do you A:
send track 1 through aux 3, L input to stereo effects, return L panned track only
and track 2 through aux 4, R stereo effect input with return to R panned channel only?

Or do you B:
use track 1 > send through aux 3 and 4.
aux3 to Left effects input, aux4 to R effects input ; returns panned accordingly
and then repeat the same with track2?

whatever works I use both if you wanna fatten up a vocal use a stereo aux and adjust the seperate outputs of the plug in, or bus if you are on a desk, rule number 1 never bus anything to itself impending doom arrives shortly following!!
