ART Pro VLA II.

Seriously nice compressor for low dough.

Opto / tube design, it's versatile enough in its price range too.

On the cheap it absolutely rules.

Do you know the best way to hook these up to a digi002 for live tracking of acoustic guitar? I want to use on both mics while I track.

Just picked up two of these bad boys with a funk logic rack for $275 on ebay!

If I recall correctly the 002 doesn't have inserts on it's preamp/lines, does it?

So unless you have outboard pre's (or something like a small mixer with pre's and inserts) you won't be able to track with the RNC's.

You can set up inserts within PT but this would include a round-trip back out of your 002 which adds to your latency and makes it impractical (if not impossible?) for live tracking.

Mixing yes, tracking no.

The Pro VLA sounds really go to me on AC guitars. I have one and don't use it very often. But on AC guitars it's nice.
