| A surface temperature measurement might be best in order to get past the subjective elements here. My 20/20's are in storage right at this instant but they definitely ran warm. You wouldn't want to put them flush against a wall, that's for sure. You've got to expect some heat... after all, you're talking about 200 watts per speaker. Imagine what it would be if they were tube amps. You wouldn't need a furnace in winter.
