Thread Starter | Roland RE-20 or UAD-1 RE-201?
Assume you own a UAD-1 card, you are not interested in buying an original Roland Space Echo, but you want that sound. Would you then buy Roland's hardware stomp-box RE-20 or the UA software version RE-201? RE-20 hardware is $249. UAD RE-201 software is $199, or bundled with Roland Dimension D and Boss CE-1 for $320. |

I've never heard the UAD version, but I have an RE-20 and an original very clean RE-201 space echo. For the most part the Roland RE-20 does a decent job sounding like the original. I was fairly impressed.. ERic
