If it ships with all of the stated features in mid Feb, I'll personally start a thread named "Brian Tankersley is a Dork!".

I'm confident I will not have to do so. Logic 5 was a year late, IIRC.

Regard,
Brian T

Logic 6 is not going to be nearly as late as Logic 5 was... One of the things I heard about being an Apple company, is that products are not announced that can't be shipped within 2 months of announcement. At NAMM, betas with all features running were running really smoothly. Really great update!

Me too....that was the most exciting thing I heard at NAMM this year.....

Second Place (for me) went to NI's Reaktor 4 as an Audio Unit under OSX.....

Digidesign (MOA) was a disappointment with no firm dates or new info (except Rewire)..... tut

...and my beloved Creamware finally showed a working production sample of Noah...but still no info on the Scope environment for OSX.... and they avoid the subject like the plague on their website.... evileye

A man that has been with Emagic since the beginning told me
not to hope for an earlier release.
I hope he's wrong

"We simply forgot it in the spec on our website (and several more features...). The time frame was pretty short (we will ship Logic 6 in 2/2003, which is also a premiere for us: annoucement + shipping in only one month!)
