finally they did it.

but the new phone functions only work with cingular in usa.

i´m curious which company it will be in europe

probably i´ll have to change my mobile provider

but anyway the iPhone is GREAT!

One thing I couldn't find is whether it will work (now or in the future) with either Blackberry or Goodlink software for push email. It just mentions a deal with Yahoo for push mail. That might be fine for consumers but the business folks aren't going to switch mail systems...hmm.

I've got a 650 right now with a 2gb memory card and love it (for the most part), but when my contract expires (early 2008 i think) I'll probably be jumping on the 2nd gen iPhones (when the bugs are worked out and they are cheaper). The competition is going to have a hard time keeping up when it comes to top end phones (partially due to the 150+ patents in this thing).
