The Black Hole JZ mics?

like to now if somebody have experience with this new mics?

Yes, I have quite an experience since I had a pair of BH-1 here for the last two months. And I must say, these are really good microphones, I was quite surprised about it. And I kept one as an alternative to my Horch. I compared it side by side to U87 - and I much prefered Black Hole in all respects ... Sounds very pleasant, full and with a nice decent touch of air. A kind of universal studio mic (finally non-chinese, hand made in Latvia - thanks God)

I also tried to use them as a pair for instrumental recordings - especially for acoustic guitar they sound great ...

I note that there is a 'lite' version potentially on the way with a fixed cardioid..

say what you will about violet mics, my god they look beautiful. and some of the other stuff he has in the pipeline does my head in - check this page out

Anyone else have any experience with this mic? I'm looking into getting the Black Hole for vocal duties.

There is a clip on Youtube of it being used in a recording(sorry, don't have link). Sounds great on playback.
