Thread Starter | Apogee AD & Mix Class "Tools"
Help Please! I'm staying with mix Mix Card & 2 DSP farms but am considering a converters upgrade. Much Cheaper than an HD2 etc. Does anyone have direct experience with comparisom between 888/24's and the Apogee AD such as a AD 8000 or maybe the Rosetta 800. I hear it is well worthwhile. Perhaps a big ben into the 888/24's is another option? Rather spend on quality outboard than donate more big sums to digi at present. Any comments appreciated.

External word clock cheers up 888/24 interfaces... A second hand WC unit would probably be the cheapest upgrade option.... A new WC unit could be a 'future proof' purchase...??? My 2c.....

Thanks Its seems a new WC would be a cost effective and longer term enhancement. From what I can find out even some of the latest gear can benefit from from ultra stable clocking. Cheers. |
