M-Audio Sputnik &. Groove Tubes GT60: Stepbrothers?

Hey there.

I read somewhere that M-Audio's Sputnik mic is being produced in the same chinese factory that provides Groove Tubes with its GT60. So I've been curious about that and I checked the specs of the GT60 microphone and now I'm wondering - has anyone tried the GT60 against the Sputnik? Are they stepbrothers? Or are they the same mic in a different packaging? Do they sound alike?

The GT60 is cardioid pickup pattern only while the Sputnik is multi pattern,
So I pressume the answer is no,
They are not the same.

I have a sputnik and GT67 (AM60). They have some similarities - ie: they're both tube multipattern condensors - but they don't sound anything alike on most sources.
