Mixplus Outputs into Dangerous 2 buss Hi, im a first time analogue summing user.(normally use a board) I have just opened a mix room for myself, im using protools mix plus, with 882 interfaces, going into a dangerous 2 bus LT. Im having problems getting the same output level on the left and right channels,(it happens on all outputs) on my big knob i can see the left hand side is a approx 6 db hotter and the difference is clearly audible. so when im ballancing 2 guitar tracks, im having to lift the right hand protools fader to compensate. This is the same for overheads etc. Does anyone know what may be happening? is there anyway in protools to adjust individual output levels? Could it be the main outputs of the summing unit?

sounds like something is 1-legged in your system somewhere (ie one side is running unbalanced). Have you tried swapping leads to see if the problem follows? Basic faultfinding time I'm afraid...swap things one at a time to see where the issue is. I'd limit yourself to a stereo pair out of PT whilst you do this.

I have tried some basic fault finding, that was my initial thought, everything is switched to +4 and running all the right cables. I was hoping for the majic button option. But guess its time to unplug, and check all my leads. Thanks for the reply.
