Need an entry-level surround monitoring system - recommendations?

I'd like to expand my stereo-only studio to be able to handle 5.1 surround mixing. My software and interfaces already do it just fine, so I'm down to the monitors. My stereo monitors are HR824's, and I like them a lot. I know them well, so I can mix to them, and they're nice on the ear to listen to.

I'm not sure what kind of budget I can squeeze for the surround speakers but I'd like to start to research some entry-level or mid-grade surround speakers. I'm not going to be mixing George Lucas's next film; this'll just be for some sound design and some basic surround mixes.

I'd be open to adding more HR824's and doing it that way, but I'd also be open to a separate 5.1 system so I can switch between the existing HR824's and the surround.

Any recommendations for a set of surrounds?

I've got the Blue Sky System One 5.1 at my home studio and a Mackie HR624 5.1 setup with Event Audio 15" sub at my lab. I prefer the Blue Sky setup (especially with the bass management), but the Mackie setup is less expensive and still very good. Being familar with the Mackies, you could consider adding three more 824s (FWIW, i like the 624s better).

If you are thinking really cheap you could go for the MAudio 5.1 set up. Run you less than $500 total. No idea how they sound...probably not too great but it would get you doing surround.

Hmmm. I've heard great things about the Blue Sky System One, but I fear it's a little out of my price range. The M-Audio starter kit is probably a bit below the caliber I was looking for.

A set of 624's might be the way to go. Anything else worth comparing it to in that kind of price range?
