| Please recommend a cheap guitar splitter! Can you give me advice which "cheap" guitar splitter will work well for recording 2 amps simultaneously with one guitar. I heard lots of problems can occur with a splitter like grounding problems/hissing. |

| Voodoo Lab has individual ground lift switches...........a bit pricier, though.

| I don't know if it's bad luck or what, but I use to have the hardest time splitting gtr signals. It would take a good 30 minutes swapping grounds around just to get the noise out. I went through several different splitters trying to stop the ground problems as well as not destroy the tone. I ended up biting the bullet and trying the MW1 that you see advertised on here a lot. It really works. It does that as well as a few other usefull things. It's not cheap, but I don't have problems anymore. I also had some luck with the Lehle P-Split. The Lehle is more affordable. | Does the Morley have transformer isolation? Radial Bigshot ABY does and it's cheaper than the Lehle. That's my vote for a passive splitter. |

| I would avoid the Morley at all costs-- terrible reputation for ruining guitar tone. The Radial is a great choice. I use a Barber Launch Pad for my A/B/Y needs.

| I also heard bad things about the Morley AB/Y. Anyone has experience with the LEEM AB-200 - it is only around $35 ![]() |

| The Radial Switchbone is a great switcher. Low noise, built in Booster, solid build quality. I've had good luck with mine. |

| One with big hooves | The problem with cheap splitters is that they're cheap. The Morley sucks. Both the A/B and that George Lynch one. Better off getting a Line 6 or Boss stompbox with stereo outs & using that if you can only toss $50 at it. Better is to get something from Loop-Master, Radial, Framptone or something on that level.
