never used SDE 2000, but I do own and use

a SRV 2000, a 80's reverb, grungy and Phatt

an SDE 3000, awesome mono delay

SDE 2500, smaller more basic version on the above

SDE 1000 smaller again

Do you have your SRVs and SDEs mixed up?

Got the SRV 2000 (reverb) and SDE 3000 (delay). Love them both. Not fancy, but great tool to have in toolbox.

I think adamcal nailed the sound of the SRV, and the delay sounds like what you put into it. Only later.

how come?

how does the modulation sound, if you'd like to do chorus and flanger effects?

Modulation is nice. Better for flanging than chorus. Because it is so programable, you can come up with some great flanging effects. The chorus is not as pronounced, and it is mono.

After all, what's the use of a chorus if it can't make you seasick?

I have a couple SDE1000's that I use in my guitar rig. I've yet to find a digi delay that I like better.
