Thread Starter | WAV file to 16 bit CD software
I was trying throw together a quick CD just so I could test out a current mix on a friends system and for some reason Nuendo is giving me error messages when I try to mixdown the files to 16 bit. Is there any quick and easy type software on the net for PC that`ll do this for me ? I`m getting this project mastered when I finalize the mix so theres no real need for any fancy features. The only thing I`m hoping for is that it`s FREE !

You might try Audacity. I don't know if it will do that for sure, but it's free audacity.sourceforge.net |

That did the trick allright ! For some reason on top of the troubles I was having in Nuendo I couldn`t get the CD burner software to read the WAV files I lifted from the pool. Could be because I didn`t actually export them so they were still officially Nuendo files. So basically I just imported the project into Audacity and immediately exported it and burned a CD. Worked fine. Thanks again dude ! |
