What do you reference with? Share your favourite reference albums and tracks. Here are some of my faves: Alan Parsons Project - Ammonia Avenue (piano, orchestral and stereo field) Dire Straits - Sultans Of Swing (acoustic/clean guitar and stereo field) Dream Theater - Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence (drums, guitar and bass) Extreme - III Sides To Every Story (vocals, drums, guitar and orchestral) Robyn - Show Me Love/Do You Know What It Takes (pop bottom and vocals) Boyz II Men - II (vocal harmonies) NSync - Bye Bye Bye/It's Gonna Be Me (pop vocals) Leila K - Come On Now! (maximum bottom) I'm not implying that these are the ultimate in any field, but they are the ones I know inside and out and find myself using the most. Spacey |

I could add that I used to use Yello's Baby as a reference but got so totally bored with it musically that I just could not stand it anymore, but you mileage may indeed vary ![]() Spacey |
