Where to Buy Cable for Tube Mic Power Supply?

Hey folks,
I am needing to buy a replacement cable for a tube mic (SE 5000), a six lead plus shield to go between the power supply and mic. I can use either raw cable and have my tech guy solder on the connectors or could buy a cable with connectors on it. any body have any leads? USA suppliers OK. David

BLUE makes a nice tube mic cable, I think it's their "Champagne" model. But I can't guarantee that it is the same pin/conductor format as what you require; check their website.

I have some Mogami that has 5 leads plus a shield [I think that's it]... two for power that are larger than the three for audio... if that'll work, send me an email and I'll hook you up with some.

I'll double check the quantity of leads... it's been a while since I looked at it...

Hi!

I just posted a Q on this topic over at R-E-P but still no answer there. Fletcher, if I understand you correctly, modern tube mics generally use that same kind of cable 'setup'? The thing that might differ is perhaps the XLR6 pinout...correct?

Take care,
Stefan

Thanks everybody for the replies. I will check and see if the 5-pin cable will work. Thanks again, David
