I went to AES ... why did they not show up?

Well if they were there, they hid the booths.
Behringer
Sintefex
Anyone else care to add to the list.

A lot of people were missing. AES used to be an audio technology show and now its pretty much a recording show.

Harmon had a 10x20 with zero product in it on the floor (everything was up in their demo room). No AKG on the floor!

Berhinger is much more of a NAMM type company....MI oriented, mass sales. They don't get a lot of love from AES types, so its not a big surprise the weren't at AES, which is coincidently an expensive show to exhibit at.

I don't think NEVE went last year....did they show this year.

I worked for console mamufacturer for quite a while....trade shows were always a big debate as to their value....

Did anybody swing by the Alto stand? I'm interested in their new "bucket of mics" concept
