Variable phase vst?

I don't know why DAWs all give you only q polarity flipper (180), instead of a knob/dial that lets you change the phasing by degrees, up to 180.

Until they get their collective acts together, does anyone know of a VST for Windows platform that does this?

Thanks

Not exactly what you are describing but for freeware TriTone Digital - For The Love of Tone! has a bit of the functionalilty you are asking for.

Otherwise maybe look into Waves S1.

If you are trying to change phase relationships sometimes sliding a track forward or back a few samples could do the trick as well.

Best regards,
Steve Berson

Many phase shifter plugs alow you to stop the LFO thereby being able to manualy tweak the phase.

Adobe Audition 3 has a graphic phase shifter. You can apply for example 20 degree + phase shift at 100hz or minus 50 degree phase shift at 1khz. I don't know any other plugin which does this.

Voxengo has one as well which I use. I do not have any affiliation with the company, just a user.

Your welcome,

It has worked quite well for me in Nuendo.

Good luck.

Unfortunately, I've never been able to work these phase shifters well. There's always some phase that remains (if there is phase in the first place).
I haven't found them any better than using the Sample (or Simple) Delay from Voxengo.
Any tidbits on their use. Any metering (using Inspector XL or something like that) that helps determine how you need to shift phase?

Voxengo, such a great warm company. :) I like them.

As for phase. Well, it's hard to fix problems yeah... but for artistic effects, it's great.
