Frequency range of Adam P33A

Hi all

Ok i guess this question is mainly for Bryce but anyone "in the know" is of course welcome to answer.

First i am quite happy that my monitor quest finally came to an end with purchasing a pair of Adam P33A monitors. (maybe some of you read my other threads where i planned to buy a passive pair of S3 but after some mails with Adam Audio germany i changed to P33A).

Well i guess every good thing comes with a bad thing so the parcel service managed to damage one of the speakers and next week i have to send the damaged one back to get a new one

I plugged them in and man what a difference. I don't have any listening experience with them yet but it's just unreal how better they are.

Anyway the reason for this post is a little confusion about the frequency range. On the Adam homepage the frequency range of the P33A seems to be 34hz-35khz. The manual of the P33A mentiones 42hz-35khz. Now i am wondering which one is true. It's not that i am missing bass i just want to know

Oh and am i the only one thinking that they are freaking loud ? I turned the input sensitivity down to -10db and then i have to switch the tracks in cubase down to -14-17. If i turn the tracks up to -2 - 0 as i had with my old speakers it's way too loud (and i am the guitar player of a metal band so i am used to loud noise )

Also i want to thank Adam Audio for making such a cool monitor. I just hope i get the replacement for the damaged speaker soon so i can enjoy my new monitors to the fullest

AFAIK, it's the first spec that's correct (34Hz - 35kHz).
