Fireface 800 w/ Yamaha 02R96?

Hello Gearslutz, new to the forum and have a question about a whole new setup for my home studio I wanna build.

Particulary I am mentioning the Fireface 800. I've been reading alot of threads mainly on this piece. I have a Motu Ultralite and without a doubt i am confident the Fireface 800 will be a major improvement in my sound quality. I mainly record Hip-Hop,R&B, and Gospel vocals but for the future look toward tracking bands also(drums, guitar, bass, etc). So the 4 mic ins wouldnt be enough but theres always the option of expanding the piece through firewire or adat. So heres my question, Do you think with the Yamaha 02R96 Digital Mixer used with the Fireface 800 i'd have the type of setup i'd be looking for? I cant speak for the A/D of either piece since I havent used either product. Preamp wise I heard the Fireface isnt the best but very good for there price. I plan to use the Yamaha mainly for a hands on DAW controller with Cubase and other things of course. So could anyone just give me any advice they can about using this two products together or any other possible alternatives.
