Thoughts on digi003R/PT vs ensemble/logic

Just fired up my new digi003 and i'm less than thrilled. I've received a number of requests to do remixes for protools sessions so I went out and bought a new Digi 003R factory. I almost got the mbox but I thought the adat optical and world clock would come in handy. I pulled up a PT session that I had spent 2 days piecing together in logic and it sounded like someone put a blanket over my monitors. I spent the better half of today figuring out how to use the digi as a dongle for the ensemble. I finally got it to work. This is where it will stay.

I haven't mixed in pro tools in a while. Can you listen to itunes while using it?

Did you think that the AD/DA in the 003R were anywhere near the ensemble? What would make you think that? Connect your Ensemble via ADAT through your 003 and you’ll be fine.
