Dither question

I have a Lynx card and in the mixer dither is turned on. I also have dither turned on in my DAW (SONAR 7.02). Are these the "same" dither, i.e. should I turn one of them on?

Unless your trying to preview the audio for 16 Bit truncation to your DAC, there should be NO reason to keep dither on in the Lynx mixer when running 24 Bit.

When you bounce to 16 Bit from the DAW stereo outputs, then BY ALL MEANS, please Dither your stereo file.

I don't see how the Lynx Preview dither would be applied to your mix down;

So use the DAW.
