| Otari MX55N good choice or ?? Hi, I'm new here. I am looking to step up to a Pro 2 track machine and am looking at a Otari MX55N. I have seen them listed for anywhere from $250-$1000 and my budget is $1K. So it's doable.....looking for one in 8-9/10 condition so I'm thinking if the Otari is reccomended well....is it a good choice for recording "live" and how's the transport and electronics? I presently have a Crown CX824 and CX844 with upgraded caps (nichicon) but I would like a better transport and those are 4 tracks that I use in my audio system. Any thoughts. Roger D. |
