| Doing a project with a throwback sound I have got a guy coming in to do some songs with a Hendrixy/Traffic kind of sound. I have some pretty good ideas but wanted to see if their were some other ideas to get a throwback type sound. He basically has a drum, fuzz type bass, organ, and guitar. Any help would be great... Thanks, Cam |

| throwback as in reflecting sound? I use 1/2 glass walls all the time to bounce guitar amps and vocals, a neat effect.

| ^ I think he means a '60's throwback sound, like a retro sound. I'd just say that if they have the chops, the instruments and the amps, you're already 95% there. You might want to try searching for the thread on the fender fuzz wah. |

| lol, ok my bad, in that note you are correct about the instruments and amps, i know my 1960 studer preamps help me a lot in that area, its very easy to get a motown sound using the 089s with the right mic. But they also are great in getting a great drum room sounds.

| Yeah, the drums are going to be a main thing...getting a greaty roomy sound. The flanger on guitar is a great idea, but I think leslie on organ and guitar might be odd but may work. Thanks, Cam |
