| Dynaudio BM5As Has anyone had the opportunity to test the new BM5As? Are they a great leap from Monitor Ones mk2active and MAckie´s 624? Thanks

| Gear maniac | I havent heard the monitor ones, but I have heard the 5A's and the 624's. The BM-5A's completely blow away the Mackies...no comparison. Detail, depth, imaging, and a suprising low end for such a small driver. They are very close sounding to the BM-6As, for 2/3 the price. I think they are the best sounding active monitors you can buy for under a grand... bear in mind I'm a dealer, but then again, I hear a LOT of different monitors, and these are truly special. |

| The New 5a’s sound great especially for the money, they lack a bit in the low end compared to the 6a’s but that is to be expected, as far as the mid’s and high end they are very similar to the 6a’s, for the money they are great and in my humble opinion sound much better than the Mackie 626’s. |
