It is required that everyone attending AES come by booth 602 and chat with us.

Jane-- Hyde Street is having a party on Friday after Al Schmitt's vocal seminar. You are officially invited. I think Evanna is having a party on Thursday.

James! You should come shoot the breeze with me and Brad and David Bock. It'll be like old times (NAB seems like such a long time ago...)

Looking forward to being there. Stop by Booth 1339 and say "Hi." Otherwise, see you at the dinner on Thursday night.

I'll be pimping mic stands at booth 1641. Also in the booth will be Thermionic Culture from the UK and Realtraps.

All Gearsluts should drop by to visit just to see what I've hung on the mighty micKing stand this time.

At Winter NAMM we had an InnerTube Audio MM2000 (magmic), and a Great River MPNV preamp on the end of the boom. See what we've added this time around.

And folks, you heard it here first, the micKing stand is in production and we are taking orders. Michael Wagener and Fletcher got their stands last July....

As you whir.

Hmmmm, that's very interesting. Thermionic Culture is displaying in the PAD/WSDG booth #426 also.

Will the REAL Thermionic Culture please stand up?

I always go -

Very nice when it is in my backyard, like this.

But great when it is in NYC - "forces" me to go to my favorite city!

We'll be there. Demo room 232.

We'll have a big ol' pair of S6-A Mk IIs just so I can see how much I can bug my neighbors...

Definitely come by the room and get a t-shirt. Wearing one at the show will enter you in our giveaway...

hey Jeff, hopefully you will have a bottomless bag of your famous Big Nuts available for sale in your booth!

Yeah, I know...... If I remember correctly, no sales are supposed to take place at the show, but we're talking about a handful of loose nuts.

And yes, I will be attending the show. We're doing something crazy and driving up from LA just so the dog doesn't miss out on a weekend in SF. Us childless types do some strange shit.......

Will the real Thermionic Culture please stand up

I think the real issue might be, what booth will be the "official" company website or booth, as opposed to another booth with Thermionic Culture products.

I sorta think that the real guys will be with us in 1641 for two reasons;

1) Our Thermionic Culture guys are flying in from England.

2) Fletcher arranged our booth sharing and I'm thinking that he'd line us up with the real guys.

So now we've got controversy! Go to booths 426 and 1641 to see where the official Thermionic Folks are!

And don't worry Hollywood Steve, I'll have lots of award winning Big Mic Nuts* to GIVE AWAY as show swag. I'll have some Latch Lake guitar slides to give to select Gearsluts also.

And Mr. Pro Jules, if I'm getting too commercial here for you, fret not, you'll be taken care of at the show.

I'll be there Saturday and maybe Sunday if I need to. It's hard to be in San Francisco and not cruise around the city...

See you there

Good point, check the AES website for where Thermionic Culture is exhibiting. Here's the link http://www.aes.org/events/117/exhibitors.cfm#T

No harm no foul, see you at the show!

Drove down from Oregon- our feline child (who's calling us childless!?) is roaming the woods for a week and a half... he's mostly an indoor cat so he's having a big old time. He's a good hunter so I think he'll do fine.

Drove though, because we're recording with Dave G the two days before AES- totin' leslie, vibes, all kindsa stuff. Remembered damn near all of it too-

BUT I FORGOT MY AES TIX!!! (that Dave Bryce was so kind to send me... )

So anybody with some extra tix, care to send some my way? <whimper>...

I can't check my email but can get private messages, so I'll be lurking around in hopes of...

thumbsup Anyone driving down I-5 through Oregon?

PM me if a ride is possible.
The only problem is my wife and I are expecting a little girl Nov 10 but she may come early!
