diaphragm thickness of Rodes

How could I find out the diaphragm thickness for Rode's line of mics? These details are not stated anywhere on their site (at least that I can find...) Particularly interested in the NT1-A and NT1000 models...I'm guessing the NT1-a is 6 microns...anyone?

Haven't the forums sort of shown this thickness thing to be of questionable meaning?

The meaning to me is only a matter of curiosity. Please don't let this turn into a why is this mic better than that mic thread..If you know this info (thickness of Rode diaphragms), good....lemme know...if not.....

Instead of being snippy, go to Rode , look for the US distributor and give them a call.

I could save you the trouble and just post the phone number, but I think you should do it yourself. You already have the link to the site.

Happy hunting.

I presume she is still with you. In which case, size doesn't matter.

Good point.

Sorry to hijack the thread, Paranoid. Consider it a bump.

All the best!

You said you had tried their site. I am suggesting you give the US distributor a phone call.
