Looking for Pro Mixing Studio/Engineer in the UK

Can anyone recommend any professional engineers / studios in the UK, preferably towards the north west.
I've used studios to in Liverpool before but so far only to my dissapointement.
Maybe I just had the wrong engineer but how would I know who to ask for.

I'm looking for someone with experience that worked on commercial music before and is maybe even a bit experienced in the dance music market. I'm willing to pay higher fees rather than having another session with a "lets-do-this-quick-so-we-can-get-the-hell-out-of-here" attitude.

I know that google is a great tool and I've used it but what I'm looking for is some personal recommendations.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Not in the North West - rather South West (Real World studios) - get in touch with Ali Staton. He ticks all those boxes! and his discog speaks for itself

Thanks a lot for the info. He does seem to be a good candidate for the job.
Looking on the real world studios, i've seen that he's no longer listed as a engineer. I also couldn't find any contact details for him online :-(
