| Mytek AD with Aardsync II clock....overkill? So......I have an Aardvark Aardsync II master clock that I've been using with my Lucid converters, to slave my Octopre AD card, and my DIGI001. I just picked up the Mytek AD/DA pair and was told that the internal clock in there is better than the clock in the Aardsync, and that I should slave the Octopre and the Mytek from the Mytek clock. What do you guys think about this? And what's even a good way to test this? I'm wanting to try some subjective listening tests, but am kind of unsure where to start that's going to yeild the results I'm looking for. Thanks for the help. |

| Just A/B it and try it out. I would sell the Aardsync. |
