| In my quest for (low-end) mastering monitors, I've narrowed it down to a couple pairs, one being PMC DB1S-As. I discovered today that they are going to be discontinued soon. The PMC rep mentioned the new Digidesign RN series which was designed by PMC. So my question is 2-fold: a) Anyone see huge downsides to buying a soon-to-be-discontinued line of monitors? b) The rep said the Digidesign RN1s were very similar to the PMC DB1S-As. Some people even liking the Digis better. Has anyone heard both sets? Thoughts? If not, how about thoughts on the Digi line...? Thanks. Ed |
