| Paul Simon Does anyone know anything about the recordings of 'Have a Good Time' or '50 Ways to Leave Your Lover?', etc? Man! Killer tone...I expect that someone will say 'MCI CONSOLE!' But even if that's true, I'd be interested to hear it... Especially the drum sounds. They're present, without being overbearing. Love it. Thanks, Stephen |

| I don't really know what exact equipment or console was used, but I know that the magic tone probably came from a room full of great musicians....and analog tape. Steve Gadd played drums on both the tracks you mentioned. Phil Ramone produced, along with Paul. I always loved "Still crazy after all these years"- the keyboards sound magical. Always reminds me of a empty street in NYC on a rainy day. ![]() |
