| Peavey Valverb, very nice? I may get one to use as an external effect for daw. Is it $325 well spent? Might be worth re-tubing + re-capping. Thanks for any thoughts. ...oops sorry, didn't see the other spring reverb post w/ some info. |

| definitely worth it IMO Nice trashy guitar amp spring reverb, quite dark But obviously depends on what sort of music you tend to be involved in! Right up my street though ![]()

![]() I have a master room xl 121 but think the valverb might be ? more lush via the tubes. If so I'll sell the master room. | |

| I've had the valverb for about a dozen years. It's worth it and handy to have around. I'm not sure the springs are long enough to give you the full blown spaghetti western sound, but it's a cool sounding box. It is my favorite tremolo of many that I own - smooth waveform and can go verrrry slow. I used to use it in front of small non-reverb guitar amps. Now I most often use it for direct guitar recording (as an amp substitute) and for direct Wurlitzer piano recording. The tremolo is similar to the Wurly, but you can really dial in the speed and depth you want. I've also run acoustic guitar mics, and even piano through it. Groovy. |
