Question About Some Italian 70's Funk!

R Ducros - amazing drums!!! Amazing recording!!

From the Italian label Vroommm.

Is there anyone here who can tell me more about this label - it's artists - especially R Ducros and the recording/mixing processes????

Thanks!

Cool stuff. I just listened to some clips here...

It sounds like it's library music stuff right? Good luck finding out any info! I wonder if there were just one or two studios where the majority of that stuff was recorded?

Yes it is all instrumental sort of music library stuff - I think the label may have been solely oriented towards that; It still features some of the most bad ass grooves I ever dun heard.

Ennio Morricones murder scene funk

ever hear the music from Tenebrae or Deep Red? italian horror movies from director dario argento. ennio morricone scored them both. i dont know much about him and i havent heard too much italian murder-scene funk in my life so i was blown away.

check 'em out on netflix or something

It's addictive!

Goblin rules! For a dark Goblin-esque Morricone sountrack check out Gli Occhi Freddi Della Paura (Cold Eyes of Fear or something like that) done with his group Gruppo Di Improvvisazione Nuova Consonanza. Whew, that was a lot of Italian typing there.

By the way those Argento movies are great if you're into that sort of thing. My fave is Suspira for both film and soundtrack. And also BTW, nice name Kraftrourke!
