Why is it that these reviews never discuss performance metrics or stability? How does Sonar perform when loaded up with lots of audio tracks & plug-ins? What happens when you load complex projects from previous versions? Does it crash?

And how does it sound relative to 3?

All this stuff always gets glossed over, and I wouldn't bet the farm on a DAW before knowing how it works in the real world.

FREE Sonar 4.0 Upgrade from Sonar 3

Anyone who purchases Sonar 3 Producer Edition here (http://www.proaudiotoys.com/store/pr...px?prdId=70450)
before 9/30/04 will get a FREE Upgrade to Sonar 4 Producer Edition.

It's a pretty good deal given that Sonar 4 will be selling for about $60 more than Sonar 3.
