Samson C02 vs Audio-Technica AT2041SP

I am trying to decide between the C02's and a set with an AT2020 and an AT2021.

Anybody have any suggestions?

i haven't used these audio-technica microphones, but i know from experience that samson make really shitty products and ackording to 99% of all comments about audio-technica here on GS A-T make great microphones for the price. so i would go with a-t.

My experiences with Samson were quite good. I've used their headphone amp, the kickback bass amp, their patchbay, the q7 mic and the samson resolv series... No complains at all for the buck. The resolv were better monitors then Behringer truths for example, the q7 is better then any behringer similar and IMHO can compete with chinese shure sm58s (at least, the ones i've used). I'm sure the comments on AT are usually good, and the 2021 is as cheap as the samson c02. But without hearing/comparing we shouldnt throw opinions like that. But well, it is your experience. From mine, Samson makes the best low end chinese/taiwan stuff.

The Samson CO2 are extraordinary mics for the price. And they look great.
Moreover they are modular but AFAIK no cap other than the cardio one is available...
You can listen to them in a shoot-out on piano with Audio-Technica, Schoeps, Rode etc. here.
