WHAT!?

I live by the rivaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

(yelp yelp yelp)

I was always critical of Mick jones' Keef impersonation (mine was better) and preferred the Sex Pistols "motorbike distortion sound" over the Clash's spikey / jagged / dub reggay sound - but they DID rock I have to admit...

The drummer Topper, managed to swoop in and marry perhaps the coolest & prettiest rock chick in my social scene as a teenager in London...

You ARE kidding about him being dead right?

It's a pretty big loss.

I dug it all, the Clash stuff and his solo stuff, his stint as a Pogue, but the loss of more Mescaleros stuff, really makes me sad. That record. Global a GoGo, has been in heavy rotation at my place for more than a year, all the clients and everyone who has past through the door loved it. Hard to out live the life style. Thanks Joe, for the tunes and attitude. Take care Logan
