| Sub-Dude | On the contrary, these are supposed to me music studios and as such, what it looks like is simply besides the point. Believe this, in this day and age, having tons of outboard gear in a home studio is for showing off more than anything else. WHAT YOU SOUND LIKE IS ALL THAT MATTERS. NEVER FEEL YOU NEED MORE GEAR TO MAKE MUSIC. YOU NEED MORE MUSIC TO MAKE GEAR.....THEN YOU CAN PURCHASE THE WOW FACTOR. UNTIL THEN, SOUND GOOD AND DON'T WORRY ABOUT LOOKING GOOD FOR THE GEEKS. |

| I coulds swore the original poster wrote 'No big shots allowed'!! Just kidding my friend...very nice place!! I LOVE cozy spots. I'd be so at home in a place like this...seems like a very creative environment.

| Jealous here! Here's my progression from the past couple years, I think it's interesting anyway: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It's humble! I do most of my recording remotely though so it's what I need/can afford for now. There's some awesome pictures going around in this thread. |

Progression in my home studio, top picture is latest, I know the speaker placement is bad, but my room is small and works for now!
