I was around when Jesus Christ had his moment of doubt and pain. I made damn sure that Pilate washed his hands and sealed his fate. So if you meet me, have some courtesy, have some sympathy, and some taste. Use all your well-learned politesse, or Ill lay your soul to waste.

It is hard to think back to the actual thoughts I had before digital really came along.
Digital kind of crept into the picture.

I can recall these "magic" moments in digital.

1975 having the soon to be heard digital and PCM recording explained
1977 using a Harmonizer 910 regularly
1981 using a Lexicon 224 regularly
1982 owning a digital delay
1982 owning a CD player
1987 owning a grey market SONY DAT machine
1987 owning a SONY PCM 701 (still have it, too!)
1989 doing an actual tape edit on a Mitsubishi X-80 digital 2-track
1993 working on a WaveFrame 1000 (one of the first true DAWs)
1993 working on a SONY 3324 DASH
1993 building a full on pro V.O. studio that had no analog console
1993 not working in any form of analog recording all
1998 mixing fully ITB
2002 mixing an actual record ITB
2003 re-mixing that record with a Midas Venice 320 and outboard
2003 having everyone I know (respected engineers) say it was one of the best things I had ever done
2007 JH24 / MCI 538C / JH-110s / Ampex AG-440C-4 / and still DP5
