Really a world class 2 channel compresssor for me please. SSL, Smart, neve, Focusrite not that fussy!

Realisticaly might go for an SPL surround knob.

Happy Xmas!

Wishing for the damn construction around my house to get finished! The wife and I, after procrastinating for 2+ years, jumped into a massive remodel / addition project on our home. Three teenage boys (and this old guy with GAS) provided the need/want for more space and a makeover to boot.
Anyway yours truly will be getting a new studio space in the bargain!
Basicly a one room affair, 26'x20' with a 10' ceiling! Can you say yahooooooo!!!
Anyway, the reason I posted here is that we're SUPPOSED to be finished by the end of December but it ain't gonna happen. It's going to be one heck of a Christmas present though, even if it's a bit late
On a side note, as we get a little closer to completion I might post a basic floor plan and let you guys help me with the layout just for grins. Anyone game???

ideally:- AMS Neve stereo 1081 reissue and a matched stereo pair of the new AKG 414s (BXLS??) oh and the remote controls to go with them.

realistically:- MD421, SM57, some new mic stands & cables.

AWS900 for me too!

I got to play on one a couple of weeks ago and it would fit very nicely in my mix room.

I think however I will also ask for something more realistic like a new compressor - cranesong STC8.

Please santa!

Si

from my wife.. something small and cute like an RNC. just to say to me that she approves of my gearslutiness and would like to help nurture it.

a 10 slot API rack with 2 of every 500 module, last 2 slots free (for my own personalisation)
