Studios offering training/courses in recording.

I see a lot of folks offering courses as a way of bringing in some extra $$.

I can't seem to find much with the search function, so I was wondering what kind of courses people are offering, what works, what doesn't and if you feel it's worthwhile.

I'd also like to hear from anyone who's attended a course and what they felt about it.

I should say that I'm interested in courses a couple of days or weeks in length rather than anything full time.

Cheers.

Some links...

In no particular order:

Pro Audio Boot Camp

The Atlas Recording Workshop

Wireworld Production Workshops (two 4-day options and one 9-day option)

And some time in 2010, I, too expect to be offering such a program in North Carolina at Manifold Recording. Please contact me if interested in learning or teaching your program in that environment.

I can also say that many studios are fully prepared to provide 1:1 services that can be very educational. I myself booked studio time in Nashville in order to compare several technical approaches to find what worked best for me (without spending the $50 million it would have cost to build them all myself and choose the best one).

A lot of Studios are offering this because they can not make enough $$$$ with their main business field. In Germany we have:

HOFA-Training | Fernschule für professionelles Homerecording
