Up North Outboard Gear Great River Crane Song (pic)

People were asking for pics a while back.

We are not just known for Prince and snowmobiles anymore.

Minnesota sure makes great audio gear. Well technically Wisconsin too. Must be something in the air.

We just installed the Crane Song gear next to the Great River and they look good together. They sound even better than they look.

We had the Crane Song Trakker and Ibis on a mix we were working within minutes. I think we broke a record from the box to a mix within minutes.

Sorry, I didn't realize the picture was so big. You give an engineer a camera and look what happens.

I knew the Adat would be an issue. I tried to keep it out of the picture but it just wouldn't go away.

Yes I have heard many good things about Justin's Folcrum.

The great thing about the Crane song Trakker and Ibis is the different sound options. There are many options that change the tonality of the sound besides just EQ and compression. Fat, iron etc. Still trying them all out.

We have rack screws Max, thanks anyways. Hey at least we don't have them on just the top, which I have seen at many studios.

Nope, we just made 15 of them as the very first production run.

It's a "collectible"

Funny... that was the first thing I noticed about the picture... a "Blue-2NV"... wow!!

LatchLake mic stands are also made in Minnesota... best damn stands I've ever used!!

However, I have to say that I'm really rather surprised that there is no EQ-2NV involved, nor is there a HEDD [or Spider]... I mean really... with all the options that the MP-2NV coupled with the EQ-2NV provide you would really have achieved the slut nirvana bordering on the orgasmic slut experience we all crave... and if you're doing the digital thing, recording all that analog coolness, and actually hearing what you recorded seems like a plausible direction...

Nice fukkin' picture!!!

Chandler's from Iowa? Where? I live in Iowa, and nothing musical comes from here, I assure you.

Being the Great Rivers a rare color, of course they sound a little better too.

I will have you check out those mic stands. I have never heard of them. Hopefully they makes stands that you don't have to be The Hulk to tighten down and keep from slipping when using a heavy mic. Todd F.

Oh the top one is blue and the bottom black.

Fletcher I do want to get a Great River EQ. I was able to play with the first one Dan was working on that he was kind enough to bring to a studio Christmas party last year. Was very nice.

Maybe santa will put one in my stocking this year. Todd F.
