| I have 2 systems........both 20 fader systems and LOVE the TANGO! Nothing compares or comes close as an overall control surface. I use Protools, Cubase and Nuendo. This unit to me works better on the Nuendo and Cubase systems however with the new 2.6 update it handles protools very well, even better than before.......Just decided to sell of my systems purely because I rarely use it.........You must try it and see how this thing works.

At this time as far as I know you are still running 1 DAW at a time........however I must add......I just installed the new Tango 2 console and extender......and one word is WOW the best controller on the market by far. I thought the T1 was great.........and it is.....however the T2 has blown me away........everything is well thought out and there are so many improvements on the design that there are too many to mention......I am proud to be the first Tango 2 users in the US.

I have a Tango 1 and really really love it. I am considering upgrading to tango 2 . I have some questions about using with pro tools 10 . Are you using with pro tools 10 ? I know it was very limited before the recent software upgrade. I have a couple of artist series mixers but I think I'm going to sell those as well if the tango 2 works reasonably well with pro tools. At least for tracking. I will more than likely move my mix to nuendo or cubase for very involved mixing although I would be happy to be pleasantly surprised to work well in pro tools. One thought is that since the touch screen is now capable of displaying the daw screens as well as the proprietary tango interface that certain functions that would otherwise require deeper control than hui will allow can be carried out by touching the screen directly. Any thoughts?
