I ordered the Firewire PCIe card w/ TI chipset but found out my computer has firewire

I got my computer a couple of days ago and it does have firewire on it. I ordered the Firewire PCIe w/ Texas Instruments Chipset from newegg a couple of days ago for 40 dollars. Should I send it back? Or will that perform better with my firepod? My firepod seems to be working fine with the firewire on my computer right now. Haven't messed with it too much though. What should I do?
