presonus digi-max lt converters vs alesis hd24 converters

i posted this on "between rock and hard place"but no response.maybe someone will respond here.my question is;which converters sound better, the presonus digi-max lt or the alesis hd24s?i am thinking of getting the hd24,i am currently using the presonus digi-max lt running to adat xts via lightpipe.should i get the hd24 (24 bit) or would i get just as good performance by upgrading my front end(better mic pres, mics, etc.)?thanks to all that respond!

I own an hd24 and love the quality of the ada converters. Unfortunately i do not know what the presonus sounds like. You cant go wrong with the hd24.
