AD8000 on the blink

Ok, my AD8000 just started to turn off, then back on again after about an hour or two of use. The fans are still working. It doesnt feel hot. It does this even when Im listening back with nothing else on.

WTF?

Any body else have this problem?

Power supply.
If you've never had the power supply serviced
I can almost guarantee you that it's on the verge of snuffing it.
Just had mine replaced at Apogee.
Expect to spend 4-500 bucks.
Ugh.

Ya, I hear you, but in all reality, for me, its ALWAYS going to be the expensive thing , not something easy like a power cord.

I did try it though. Well see.

Thanks

Well, it was the power supply.
I took it to CTG here. They said that whoever did the power supply upgrade did a very poor job. As in loose solder connections. They upgraded the supply to Rev E4 and tightened everything up for only 149.
It took someone from Apogee at least a week or more to get back to me. By that time I had already dropped it off.
